Rosalie Blythe, age 74 of Peebles, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2014 at The Christ Hospital.
She was born in West Union, Ohio on May 31, 1939 the daughter of the late Chestey and Georgia Bentley Whaley.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Blythe who passed away on November 22, 2001 and one sister, Anna Ruth Breeze.
Rosalie attended Peebles Church of Christ in Christian Union.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Anita Blythe of Hillsboro; one daughter and son-in-law, Shawna and Joe Beasley of Peebles; foster son, Bill and Marie Brown of Colorado; three sisters, Shirley McKenzie of Lynchburg, Shelby Breeze of Manchester, and Susie Kidder of Cherry Fork; five grandchildren, Bryce, Jordan, Jase, Billy Brown, Jaynie Brown-Leger, Zachary Blythe, and Kristen Hill; and two great grandchildren, Keatyn and Jax.
Cremation is to take place with no services scheduled at this time.
Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles is in charge of the arrangements.
