Rosemary Combs, 83 years of Peebles, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at her residence.
She was born in Dayton, Ohio on October 1, 1929 the daughter of the late Charles and Lilly Abbott Kingsolver.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Combs, who passed away on September 26, 1995; one son, Alan Combs; one brother, Joseph Kingsolver; and one sister, Iva Jean Elswick.
Rosemary attended Louisville Community Church.
She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Brenda Combs of Peebles, Clinton Combs of Peebles, and Morgan and Pricilla Combs of Peebles; one daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Greg Hirsch of Wilmington; one brother, Robert Kingsolver of Missouri; 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Michael Wiseman officiating. Burial will follow in Kingsolver Family Cemetery located in Belfast.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
