Rosemary Jean Roades
November 16, 1927 — January 28, 2017
Rosemary Jean Roades (Poole), 89 years of Hillsboro, Ohio, peacefully went home to be with her Lord on January 28, 2017.
She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 16, 1927, the daughter of the late Lawrence E. and Lucille R. (Ludwick) Poole and spent her entire adult life in Highland County. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Janice L. Roades, her husband Lawson A. Roades and four brothers, William (Bill), Edward (Ed), Matthew (Mac), and Jennings Poole. Rosemary was a housewife, a loving and dear friend to many and dedicated her life to her husband and children, one of whom was disabled with polio for 48 years. To so many she will be remembered as a kind and loving soul who always put others first, especially her family and her faith in God.
Rosemary (Poole) Roades, is survived by her son, Albert E. Roades (unknown) and daughter, Debra R. Kubiet of Raleigh, NC, sister Barbara Henize (Hillsboro) and several nieces and nephews. Thompson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements, with
visitation on Thursday, February 2nd from 10:00 - 12:00 followed immediately by Funeral Services at 12:00.
Burial will follow at the SugarTree Ridge Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Sugartree Ridge Church of Christ, 2240 State Route 136, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.
