Roy Ray Collins, 74 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Sunday October 11, 2015 at the ADENA Health System in Chillicothe.
He was born in Clendenin, WV on June 26, 1941, the son of the late Arthur and Melissa (Godby) Collins. Besides his parents he was also preceded by three brothers and four sisters.
Roy was a member of the A.T.A. and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Roy is survived by his wife, of 52 years, Kaye Collins of Hillsboro, three sons, Keith (Amy) Collins of Hillsboro, Donnie (Kim) Collins of Hillsboro and Mike (Jackie) Collins of Hillsboro, two daughters, Rhonda Kidder of Hillsboro and Sheilia Howland of Hillsboro, 11 grandchildren, 8-step grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 11- step great grandchildren, seven brothers, James (Barbara), Mike (Diane), General (Elvie), Lynord (Connie), Jerald (Betty), Ronald (Pasty) and Roger; four sisters, Reba (Gary), Anna, Betty and Ruth and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday October 15, 2015 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Dunkard Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may call at 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday October 14, 2015 at the Thompson Funeral Home.
