Ruby K. Cartier, 65 years of South Webster, Ohio, died Thursday, September 25, 2003 at the Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.
She was born in Highland County, Ohio on December 1, 1937 the daughter of the late Walter and Louise Marie Marcum Fairley.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Ralph Fairley, and one sister, Phyllis Walker.
She is survived by a very special friend, Charles Tackett, nine sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Connie Hopkins of Hillsboro, Doug and Violet Hopkins of West Union, Wayne and Joyce Hopkins of West Union, Kenny and Susan Hopkins of West Union, Ronnie and Patricia Hopkins of West Union, Floyd Beatty, Jr. of Indiana, Lester Beatty of Indiana, Leslie Beatty of Hillsboro, Patrick Beatty of Sabina, five daughters and sons-in-law, Janet S. and Charley Paris of Leesburg, Kathy and Terry Lacy of West Union, Bonnie Stone of West Union, Candice and Tim Cottrill of Frankfort, Patty and David Lauderback of Mt. Orab; 23 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Linda Fairley of Hillsboro, Raymond and Verna Fairley of Hillsboro, one sister, Betty Beatty of Greenfield.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. at the Bridges Cemetery with Marvin Wilson officiating.
Friends may call on Saturday from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Charity of Choice.
