Ruby Wallace, 73 years of Bellbrook, OH, died Monday, January 26, 2009 at the Bellbrook Rehabilitation Center.
She was born August 31, 1935 in Breathitt County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Alton and Lola Banks Hammonds. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Sherman Daniel Wallace; two brothers, Lonnie and Jim Hammonds; two sisters, Jo Hammonds and Christa Jenkins.
Ruby is survived by one son and daughter-in-law,
Paul D. and Mary Kay Wallace of Kettering, OH., one daughter, Kimberly Helton of Dayton, OH., four grandchildren, Joey Leone, Jeffrey Wallace, Melissa Wallace and Melanie Wallace, three brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald and Naomi Hammonds, Gary and Susie Hammonds, Mike and Delpha Hammonds, eight sisters and brothers-in-law, Jane and Sarge Stamper, Marie Ernst, Patricia Banner, Pricilla and Johnny Barnett, Brenda Jones, Barb and Charlie Gumz, Mary and Kenny Montgomery, Terri and Dave Pack, one sister-in-law, Mary Hammonds, several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held 2:30 P.M. Saturday, February 7, 2009 at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring, OH..
Pastor Jerry Siler will officiate with burial to follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Sinking Spring.
Friends may call Saturday from 12:30 P.M. until 2:30 P.M. at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home.
