Ruby A Younker

Ruby Younker, 85 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Sunday August 31, 2014 at the Highland District Hospital.
She was born in Ullin, IL on February 3, 1929, the daughter of the late James and Martha (Ross) White. Besides her parents she was also preceded by her husband Archie Younker, on September 6, 1992, special friend Forest Skidmore, three brothers Henry "Bill", Thomas and George White, sister Mary Jean Hogsett and daughter-in-law Doris Younker.
Ruby worked at Ruby's Beauty Salon, in Sinking Spring, for fourteen years, taught at Nationwide Beauty Academy in Columbus for four years, was a member of the Wilmington Bible Baptist Church and loved to make picture collages.
She is survived by her son Anthony Younker of Hillsboro, brother James White of Lorain, OH, one granddaughter Donica Renee (Kevin) Grow of Hillsboro and great grandson Clayton Anthony Collier of Hillsboro.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday September 4, 2014 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Sinking Spring.
Friends may call at 12:00 P.M. until time of service on Thursday September 4, 2014 at the Thompson Funeral Home.
Donations can be made to the Wilmington Bible Baptist Church, 55 Megan Drive Wilmington, OH 45177.
