Russell DeVore, 66 years of Maitland, Florida, died Wednesday, June 21, 2006.
He was born in Winchester, Ohio in 1939 the son of the late Earl and Fannie Shelton DeVore.
He graduated from Winchester High School in 1957 and The Ohio State University in 1968 with a degree in veterinary medicine. In 1970 he moved to Maitland, Florida where he established the South Seminole Animal Hospital in Fern Park, Florida. Later in life he became a self-employed building contractor.
He is survived by his brother, Ray DeVore of Winchester, daughter, Ronda DeVore of Springfield, Virginia, and many people who loved him.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at the Bradford-Sullivan Funeral Home in Winchester with John Waugh officiating. Burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery.
Friends may call on Saturday from 11:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the Bradford-Sullivan Funeral Home.
