Russell Paul Little, 76 years of Huber Heights, died Monday, May 13, 2002 at the Grandview Hospital in Dayton.
He was born in Hillsboro, Ohio on August 30, 1925 the son of the late Russell and Mary Fawley Little.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Redkey Little, who passed away on January 22, 2000, and two sisters.
He is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Carol Getter of Huber Heights, Judy Martin of Dry Ridge, Kentucky, Barbara and David L. Hollingsworth of Las Vegas, Nevada, Ruth and Ken Lacy of Huber Heights, two sisters, Ruth Irwin of New Vienna, Charma Little of New Vienna, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Charles and Frieda Redkey of Hillsboro, eight grandchildren, Paul Newnam, Laura Highland, Eric Martin, Rhonda Temke, Tim Hollingsworth, Teresa Easter, Adam Lacy, Holly Lacy, and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2002 at 2:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Dennis Durig officiating. Burial will follow in the Prospect Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Thursday from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, OH 45420.
