Russell Shiveley

Russell Shiveley, 80 years of Wheat Ridge Community, died Monday, January 14, 2008 at Adams County Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Peebles, Ohio on July 17, 1927 the son of the late William and Mildred Abbott Shiveley.
He was a US Army Veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Southern Ohio Draft Horse Association, the Cynthiana, KY Draft Horse & Mule Association, and the Adams County Coon Hunters Club.
He is survived by his wife Rosalee Pertuset Shiveley, who he married on March 11, 1950, sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Patty Shiveley of Peebles, Rick and Gloria Shiveley of West Union, and David and Kasey Shiveley of Mt. Orab, brother and sister-in-law Charles and Mildred Shiveley of Peebles, sister Linda Ritchie of Batesville, Indiana, eight grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren .
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 18, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Richard Lloyd and Dave Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 4:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
