Ruth E. Davis, 86 years of Hillsboro, died Thursday, October 24, 2002 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
She was born in Hillsboro, Ohio on December 5, 1915 the daughter of the late Charles Lloyd and Mabel Ethel Pierson Nye.
She was a member of the Christian Church in Las Vegas, and attended the Hillsboro Church of Christ.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth T. Davis, who passed away in 1979, one brother, Albert Bud Nye, and two sisters, Gertrude Carroll, and Helen Fenner.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Beverly Ann and Irwin Gershwin of Las Vegas, Nevada, two grandchildren, Pamela Mark Morgan of Nevada, Debbie Phillips of California, six great grandchildren, three brothers and sister-in-law, J. William Bill and Ann T. Nye of Hillsboro, John R. Nye of Dayton, Charles Nye, Jr. of Hillsboro, and one half brother, George Gall of Dayton.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 25, 2002 at 11:30 A.M. at the Glen Rest Memorial Park in Reynoldsburg, Ohio with William Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in the Glen Rest Memorial Park.
There will be no visitation.
Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.
