Ruth E. Naylor, 78 years of Winchester, died Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at Clermont Mercy Hospital in Batavia.
She was born in Winchester, Ohio on February 3, 1927 the daughter of the late Albert and Mary Naylor Plummer.
She was a member of the Bethlehem Church of Christ, the Winchester American Legion Auxiliary Cameron-Ellis Post #242, the Adams County Hospital Auxiliary, 4H Advisor for Winchester Liberty Bells, and thirty-five year member of the Winchester Scattered Homemakers. She graduated from Winchester High School sixty years ago in 1945.
She was united in marriage on January 2, 1946 to Delbert Naylor, who passed away in 1990. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one son, David John Naylor, one granddaughter, Susan Colleen Fenton, and three sisters, Ethel Fox, Mildred Agnew, and Carolyn Spencer.
She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Steve and Geraldine Naylor of Winchester, Daniel Naylor of Unity, Ohio, daughters, Paulette Fenton of Dayton, Beth Ann Longacre of Denver, Colorado, brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Ann Plummer of Hemet, California, eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. at the Bethlehem Church of Christ with Tom Claibourne and Homer Holsted, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Cherry Fork Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 6:00 till 9:00 P.M. at the Bethlehem Church of Christ.
