Ruth B. Scott, 89 years of Peebles, died Wednesday, January 7, 2004 at the Adams County Hospital in West Union.
She was born in Peebles, Ohio on September 20, 1914 the daughter of the late William and Nelle Blackburn Campton.
She was a member of the Peebles Church of Christ, Peebles Garden Club, and Peebles Alumni Association.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Blanchard Scott, who passed away on December 20, 1985.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Marge Campton of Peebles, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Jim Mossbarger, Bob King, and Jim Chandler officiating. Burial will follow in the Jacktown Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
