Ruth Vanzant Smart, 92 years of Seaman, died Friday, June 25, 2004 at the Salyer Adult Group Home in Hillsboro
She was born at Belfast, Ohio on February 25, 1912 the daughter of the late Branson and Alice Borden Vanzant.
She was a member of the May Hill Church of Christ and served as Pianist for many years.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Inez Smart Blackmore.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Ralph Smart of Seaman, one son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Deborah Smart of Kissimmee, FL, two daughters and sons-in-law, Louise and John McKamey of Leesburg, Dorothy and Eddie Geeslin of Seaman,
nine grandchildren, Greg Tosca Geeslin, Ted Sandy Geeslin, Deric Leeanna McKamey, Brad Lori McKamey, Julie Michael Alfieri, Marla Chris Young, Ronda Eli Westfall, Keri Justin Halleck, Ryan Smart and thirteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on
Tuesday, June 29, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman with Ernie Barrett officiating. Burial will follow in the Coss Cemetery near Belfast. Friends may call on Monday
evening from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home.
Memorial may be made to the Seaman Church of Christ, 300 Broadway, Seaman, OH 45679 or Hospice of Hope, 1 West McDonald Parkway, Maysville, KY 41056
