Ruth Whitley, 86 years of Peebles, passed away Thursday, August 23, 2012 at University of Cincinnati Hospital.
She was born in Adams County, Ohio on May 23, 1926 the daughter of the late Harley and Virgie White Hoffer.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Whitley who passed away on November 30, 1987.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law; Barbara and Arlyn Knauff of Peebles, one sister; Jane Abdon of Buffalo, Missouri, one granddaughter; Jennifer Fletcher, and two great grandsons; Jacob and Aaron.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 27, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Richard Lloyd officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
