Sam Holbrook, 52 years of West Union, passed away Monday, December 14, 2009 at his residence.
He was born in Springfield, Ohio on December 30, 1956 the son of the late Lacy and Lilly Roberts Holbrook.
He is survived by his wife Kris Sword Holbrook of West Union, whom he married on April 20, 2007, one son and daughter-in-law; Michael and Emily Holbrook of West Union, three daughters and sons-in-law; Michelle and Steve Wilson of Ripley, Tangie and Brian Baldwin of Peebles, and Tammy Williams of Winchester, two brothers; Zonnie Holbrook of West Union and Eugene Holbrook of Seaman, four sisters; Sue Thomas of Peebles, Ina Cluxton of Cherry Fork, Wilma Dotson of Russellville, and Linda Ward of Peebles, one step son; Ryan Lewis of Leesburg, one step daughter; Paige Phillabaum of West Union, and ten grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Dennis Ward officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
