Samuel L. Davis

Samuel L. Davis, Jr., 77 years formerly of Ash Ridge Area, died Thursday, May 3, 2001 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton.
He was born in Ash Ridge, Ohio on March 22, 1924 the son of the late Samuel L. and Lula Frances Day Davis, Sr.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Anita.
He is survived by his second wife, Dorothy Koch Davis of Dayton, brother, James R. Davis of California, three sisters and brother-in-law, Juanita Fread of Dayton, Ila Davis of Dayton, Neva and Donald Blair of Washington Court House, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2001 at 1:00 P.M. at the Cherry Fork Cemetery with Rev. John Waugh officiating. Burial will follow in the Cherry Fork Cemetery.
There is no visitation.
Bradford-Sullivan Funeral Home in Winchester is in charge of arrangements.
