Samuel E. Gorman

Samuel E. Gorman, 89 years of Seaman, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2010 at Adams County Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Clinton County, Ohio on March 8, 1921 the son of the late Mathew and Rebecca Houston Gorman.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Laura Gorman, who passed away in 1995, two sons; Dale and Robert D. Gorman, one daughter; Mary L. Gorman, two half brothers, and one half sister.
He is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law; Earl and Kathy Gorman of Peebles and Roger Gorman of Peebles, two daughters and sons-in-law; Linda and Keith Williams of Cedar Mills, Ohio and Teresa and Kerry West of Seaman, two sister-in-laws; Marilyn Johnson and Vera Smith both of West Union, ten grandchildren, twenty five great grandchildren, five step grandchildren, five step great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman with Rev. Tim Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Leigh Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. and one hour prior to service on Wednesday at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman.
Memorials may be made to donor's favorite charity.
