Samuel D. Hunsucker

Samuel D. Hunsucker, 69 years of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at the Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Oh.
He was born February 20, 1938 at Jack Horn, KY., the son of the late Arlan and Cassie Bell Hammond Hunsucker.
Sam retired after 30 years of service from the O.S. Kelly Foundry in Springfield, Ohio.
On August 3, 1979, he was united in marriage to Emily Smith Hunsucker who preceded him in death on December 25, 2004. He was also preceded in death by a step son Earl Duane Gullett; three brothers, Benjamin, Bud and Harry Dan Hunsucker; one sister, Mary Hunsucker; two step granddaughters.
He is survived by a son, David Hunsucker of Springfield, OH.; one daughter and son-in-law, Angie and Rick Jones of Fairborn, OH.; three step sons, Robert and Lynn Farmer of Tuscon, Arizona, Larry and Joan Gullett of Springfield, OH., Aaron and Cindy Gullett of Washington C.H., OH.; four step daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Jerry Safarik of Hillsboro, OH., Julia and Frank Brewer of Hillsboro, OH., Angie and Mike Carey of Springfield, OH., Paula Jo and Roger Travis of Springfield, OH.; two brothers, Marion and Dewey Hunsucker, both of Tennessee; two sisters, Arlena Flemings and Doris Flemings both of Tennessee; two granddaughters, Nicole Pyles and Ashley Jones; two great granddaughters, Hannah Nickels and Lauren Pyles; host of step grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Friday, December 7, 2007 at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring, OH..
Rev Carey Hilterbran will officiate with burial following in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call Thursday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home.
