Sandra Lynn Artigas, 62 years of Peebles, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2008.
She was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota on August 30, 1945 the daughter of the late Walter and Caroline Boss Slatter.
She was a kindergarten teacher at North Adams Elementary School.
She is survived by her husband Victor Artigas of Peebles, whom she married August 24, 1972, son and daughter-in-law Chris & Emily Artigas of Union, Ohio, and daughter and son-in-law Aimee and Michael Sutton of Richmond, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 15, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the West Union Bible Baptist Church with Tim Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at the West Union Bible Baptist Church; the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles will be serving the family.
