Sara M. Dillon was called to be home on April 12, 2021. She was born December 14, 1940, to Archie and Rose (Moshauer) Whiting in Hillsboro, Ohio.
She was a 1958 graduate of Hillsboro High School and was employed at the Hercules Pants Factory.
She married the love of her life, Luther "Junior" Dillon, on February 2, 1967. Together they raised four children and helped raise many of their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father Archie and Rose Whiting, brothers Ronnie and Roger Whiting, Jerry Leber, her husband Luther Roscoe Dillon Jr., and two sons John and Bill Cox.
She is survived by two children, Hope (Bill) Johnson and Ronald (Jayne) Cox, two brothers, Ralph (Bonnie) Whiting and Raymond (Lilly) Whiting, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
There will be no funeral services held per her wishes. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband and family at New Market Cemetery.
