Sara Elizabeth Wilson

Sara Elizabeth Wilson, 94, of Belfast Community died on January 18, 2019. She was born August 24, 1924 in Portsmouth, OH. Daughter of Wilmer and Lula (Adkins) Hefner. She was preceded in death by her husband of nearly sixty years, Fred L. Wilson. Fred was a decorated WWII veteran and had retired from CSX Corporation. She was also preceded by all of her siblings including her beloved sisters: Mary, Dorothy, Betty and Helen.
She is survived by her son, Dr. Phillip S. Wilson and his wife Cynthia (West), three grandchildren, Barbara L. Bodem and her husband Chris, Mary E. Todd and her husband Tony and Jonathan P. Wilson and his wife Angela and nine great grandchildren: Delia and Lucy Bodem, Brayden Hilderbrandt, Alisha, Megan, Savannah and Molly Todd, Sloane and Grant Wilson.
Sara and Fred lived in Grove City, OH for over forty years. She retired as a Pharmacy Technician at Lazarus Department Stores. She was a life-long member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Services will be held at Highland Memorial Gardens in South Point, OH at the convenience of the family.
