Sarah Jean Hartman

Sarah Jean Hartman, 55 years of Rolling Meadows, IL, passed away on Monday July 13, 2015.
She was born in Richmond, IN, on March 6, 1960, the daughter of the late Marion E. Hartman and Helen (Morris) Hartman.
Sarah was a 1978 graduate from Hillsboro High School, received a degree from Iowa State University and Du Paul University, was a member of the Arlington Heights UCC Church and was a master basket weaver and avid kayaker. Sarah shared her love of kayaking through teaching and guiding wilderness adventures.
Besides her mother, Sarah is survived by three sisters, JoAnne (Steve) Schnebly of Scranton, IA, Emily (Bob) Peinsipp of Lombard, IL, and Amy Hartman of Greenwood, IN; niece, Susan Peinsipp, three nephews, Ben Peinsipp, Andrew Schnebly and Shawn (Heather) Hamilton and two great nephew and niece, Jadyn and Jaci Hamilton.
Funeral Services will be at the convenience of the family on Friday July 17, 2015 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will be at Hightop Cemetery with Rev. Rex Pierce officiating.
