Saul Keith, 85 years of Peebles, died Sunday, February 13, 2005 at his residence.
He was born in Bernice, Kentucky on November 3, 1919 the son of the late Stephen and Lucy Spurlock Keith.
He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam Era. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, the Peebles American Legion Thompson-Wallingford Post, past District Deputy Grand Master Mason, Knight of York Cross of Honor, and past Worthy Patron of the Peebles Order of Eastern Star Chapter #396.
He is survived by his wife, Vivian Hall Keith, who he married on January 1, 1961, son, Richard Keith, daughters and son-in-law, Sharon Martin of Peebles, Marcia and Mike Cullen of Texas, three grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Jerry Holbrook and Ron Briggs officiating.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, with Masonic Service at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday. The Adams County Honor Guard will perform military honors at 7:30 P.M. Wednesday at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
