Scott W. "Scottie" Bentley, Sr., 73 years of the Sinking Spring Community, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2020 at his residence.
Scottie was born July 27, 1946, the son of the late Roosevelt and Bessie (Sowards) Bentley. Beside his parents, Scottie was preceded in death by one grandchild, four brothers, Mart, Charles, Walter and Grant Bentley; one sister, Lulla Hammond.
Scottie is survived by sons, Kevin Bentley of Sinking Spring and Scott W. Bentley, Jr. of Sinking Spring; several grandchildren; one brother, Donnie Bentley of Sinking Spring; four sisters, Evelyn Carrington, Eileen Self, Geraldine Vandervan all of Texas and Carol Sue Gouvoussis of New York; special care giver, Shanna Bracken; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Graveside Services will be held 2:30 P.M. Thursday, February 13, 2020 at the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery. No visitations will be observed.
