Selma Branham, 94 years of Peebles, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Adams County Manor.
She was born in Hall, Kentucky on September 15, 1918 the daughter of the late John and Lizzie Hopkins Franklin.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Branham, who passed away on December 15, 1990, one son; Jim Branham, and one daughter; Fayetta Morris.
She is survived by one son; Jack Branham of Mesa, Arizona, one daughter and son-in-law; Glenda and Rupert Jones of Peebles, one sister; Zella Hall of Peebles, 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 5 step great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and one daughter-in-law; Bea Branham of Mesa, Arizona.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Dave Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
