Sherman E. Jackson, 84 years of Hillsboro, died Saturday, September 26, 2009 at his residence.
He was born October 6, 1924 at Beaver, OH, the son of the late Georgia Harris. Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother Earl C. Jackson and one sister Florence Artist.
Sherman worked for Moore's Drop Forge in Hillsboro for several years.
He is survived by one daughter Janice Marie Jackson of Cincinnati, OH., two sons, Sherman B. Jackson of Middletown, OH., Manuel L. Jackson of New Vienna, OH., two sisters, Lora E. Norvell of Dayton, OH., Marla Roberts of Springfield, OH., 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, October 2, 2009 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
The Rev. Mike Hancock will officiate with burial to follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
