Sherry L. Ritchie, 68 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Sunday October 19, 2014 at her residence.
She was born in Hillsboro, on June 7, 1946, the daughter of the late William Wesley and Ruby Ethel (Kinnett) Stout. Besides her parents she was also preceded by two brothers Charles and Richard Stout and one sister June Beath.
Sherry was a member of the Evergreen Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband James "Bud" Ritchie, Sr. whom were married on November 8, 1964, two sons James "Jamie" (Amanda) Ritchie, II of Hillsboro and William "Bill" (Lisa) Ritchie of Hillsboro, three daughters Tracy Allen of Hillsboro, Sheila (Brian) Cummings of Hillsboro and Jennifer (Kelly) McCarter of Middletown, brother Leslie Stout of Sequin, TX, seventeen grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and host of friends.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday October 23, 2014 at the Hillsboro Bible Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Bloom Rose Cemetery.
Friends may call at 11:00 A.M. until time of service on Thursday October 23, 2014 at the church.
Thompson Funeral Home is in charge of services.
