Shirley Ahrman, 71 years of Peebles, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2009 at her residence.
She was born in Estill County, Kentucky on September 26, 1937 the daughter of the late Jonah and Fannie Newton Estes.
She is survived by her husband Harold Ahrman, whom she married on October 28, 1960, son and daughter-in-law Raymond and Michele Ahrman of Peebles, three daughters and son-in-law; Robin Ahrman of West Union, Roxanne and Guy Munson of Texas, and Ronda McClain of Texas, two brothers; Dave Estes of Cincinnati and Jeff Estes of Florida, three sisters; Ivory Baker of Cincinnati, Pauline Henke of Cincinnati, and Polly Elkins of Kentucky, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and special friends Tim and Sherry Campton.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Tom Tolle and David Wirth officiating.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 12:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Hope, 215 Hughes Blvd. Mt. Orab, Ohio 45154 or the Ronald McDonald House.
