Shirley Jean Albin, 63 years of West Union, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2009 at her residence.
She was born in Dayton, Ohio on July 1, 1945 the daughter of the late Charlie and Alice Duncan Glenn.
Shirley was a longtime member of the West Union Church of God.
She is survived by her husband, James Albin of West Union, two sons and daughter-in-law; Steven and Kimberly Barger of Groveport, Ohio and Marshall Barger of Groveport, Ohio, three step sons and daughter-in-law; James R. and Melinda Albin of Hamilton, Ohio, Robert Albin of Middletown, Ohio, and Randal Albin of Cincinnati, Ohio, one daughter and son-in-law; Michelle and Jimmy Angel of Manchester, Ohio, one step daughter and son-in-law; Wendy and Micquel Sanchez of Cincinnati, Ohio, four brothers and sisters-in-law; Daniel Glenn of Seaman, Pete and Linda Glenn of Peebles, Donald and Delena Glenn of Camdon, Ohio, and Ralph and Susan Glenn of Middletown, Ohio, brother-in-law Gary Barrett of Hamilton, Ohio, two sisters and brother-in-law; Alice and Norman Kelly of Seaman and Carolyn Monar of Peebles, nineteen grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the Tranquility Full Gospel and Tabernacle Church Funeral with Pastor David Acree officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 6:00 till 9:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman.
