Shirley Ann Boggs

Shirley Ann Boggs, 70 years of West Union, died Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at her residence.

She was born in Brown County, Ohio on July 30, 1935 the daughter of the late Charles L. and Mary F. Day Gray.

She was a member of the West Union Southern Baptist Church. She was a caregiver for various Nursing Homes, worked as the Assistant Purchasing Director for Perry and Derrick Paint Company, and was the former owner of Boggs Restaurant in Ripley.

Beside her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Gray, and special cousin, Ada German.

She is survived by her sons, Steven Gifford of Florence, Kentucky, Dennis Tina Glass Pollitt of West Union, daughters and sons-in-law, Robin and Brian Bennington of Winchester, Mary and Randall Dillow of Winchester, brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Janice Gray of Georgetown, Ohio, sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Gary Exaver of Sardinia, Sandy and George Garrison of West Union, Nancy and Denver Holly of Chesapeake, Ohio, thirteen grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman with Rev. Chuck Gray and Rev. Gary McChaman officiating. Burial will follow in the Cherry Fork Cemetery.

Friends may call on Saturday from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to Southern Hills Sign and Choir, Seaman, Ohio.
