Shirley Myers, 74 years of West Union, passed away Monday, July 22, 2013 at Select Specialty in Fort Thomas, Kentucky.
She was born in Adams County, Ohio on July 8, 1939 the daughter of the late Jack and Ethel Stewart Morrison.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one daughter, Shirley Ann Myers.
Shirley attended Germany Free Will Baptist Church and was the owner of Myers General Store.
She is survived by her husband, Harry Myers of West Union, whom she married on February 8, 1957; two sons and daughter-in-law, Terry and Tina Myers of Peebles and Dennis Myers of Georgia; two daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Chuck Zindars of Mahomet, Illinois and Shelly and Matt Nichols of Peebles; five sisters, Marjorie Scott of Manchester, Jo Ann Stricklett of West Union, Shelva Waldron of Louisville, Kentucky, Jackie Brown of West Union, and Joyce Fields of Manchester; 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and two step grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Tom Brown and Eugene Kitchen officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
