Sid Workman, 84 of Peebles, died Tuesday, May 24, 2005 at the VA Medical Center in Cincinnati.
He was born in Logan County, West Virginia on February 24, 1921 the son of the late John and Tena Braisden Workman.
He was a veteran of WWII serving in the Army Air Corps and a member of the Thompson-Wallingford American Legion Post #594.
He is survived by his wife Florence Short Workman whom he married on March 23, 1953, two sons and daughters in law, Gary and Julie Workman of Peebles, Steve and Sheila Workman of Batavia, four grandchildren and one brother Sim Workman of Peebles.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 27, 2005 at 3:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Dave Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery with Military grave side services by the Adams County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Friday from 1:00 P.M. till service time at 3:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home
