Smokey McGlothen, 56 years of West Union, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at his residence.
He was born in Peebles, Ohio on March 13, 1951 the son of the late Carvis and Mabel Lorenzo McGlothen.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Peggy Hoffer.
He is survived by his companion Ruth McClanahan, brother and sister-in-law Roger and Pat McGlothen of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, and sister and brother-in-law Linda and Ron Storer of Waverly.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, March 17, 2008 from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at the Southern Baptist Church in West Union with Matt Young officiating.
Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles will be serving the family.
