Sona Gaye Moore, 60 years of Kettering, died Sunday, September 24, 2006 at her residence.

She was born in Fletcher County, Kentucky on April 22, 1946 the daughter of the late Walter and Lula Wilder Sandlin.

Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Moore, who passed away in 1987, one daughter, Kathy Lynn Hood, and one brother, John Sandlin.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Marilyn Moore of Seattle, Washington, daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Troy May of Nicholasville, Kentucky, brothers and sisters-in-law, Roy and Anna Sandlin of Dayton, Bobby and Molly Sandlin of Whitesburg, Kentucky, sisters and brothers-in-law, Jewel Coven of Dayton, Flora Secrest of Kettering, Trudy and James Longnecker of Rushville, Ohio, Brenda and Steve Beech of Indiana, Duvon and Gene Scudder of Indiana, Vernita and John Adams of Kentucky, Donna and Burnis Sergent of Kentucky, six grandchildren, one great grandson, and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman with Matt Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in the Cherry Fork Cemetery.

Friends may call on Saturday from 12:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home.
