Stephen Hupp, 69 years of Hillsboro, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at his residence.
He was born in Montgomery County, Ohio on May 17, 1940 the son of the late Ralph and Lula Mae Chaplin Hupp.
Stephen was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era, a member of Am Vets, American Legion Post #554, and the Eagles.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one son; Rodney Allen Hupp, one brother; Leonard Gus Hupp, two sisters; Helen Clarck and Bonita McCellan, and one nephew; Clifford Beighle.
He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law; Tony and Trish Hupp of Hillsboro, one daughter and son-in-law; Stephanie and David Puckett of Peebles, one brother and sister-in-law; Jim and Melissa Hupp of Seaman, three sisters and brothers-in-law; Juanita and Larry McIntire of Seaman, Becky and Sam Beighle of Winchester, and Connie Mote of Bradford, Ohio, six grandchildren; Justin Hupp, Brandon Crone, Michael Sietz, Brandon Sietz, Erica Lykins, and Olivia Howard, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 26, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman with Dick Gorman officiating. Burial will follow in Cherry Fork Cemetery with military graveside services given by the Adams County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Thursday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman.
