Rev. Steven Edward Hayes, 29, died August 2, 2002 in Plant City, Florida.
Steve was a teleservice representative for the Social Security Administration, and an ordained minister in the Church of the Nazarene. He was a graduate of Mt. Vernon College in Mt. Vernon, Ohio. He was a member of the Highland Park Church of the Nazarene, where he was the youth Bible quiz coach.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Hamilton Hayes of Plant City, Florida, the daughter of Jim and Carolyn Hamilton of Hillsboro. Daughter, Breanna Hayes of Plant City, Florida. Parents Rev. Daniel and Mrs. Sharon Hayes of Pascagoula, Mississippi, and two brothers, Matt Hayes of Valrico, Florida, and Justin Hayes of Pascagoula, Mississippi.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 9, 2002 at 11:00 A.M. at the Hillsboro Cemetery with Rev. Tom Zile officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.
