Susan Lynn Ison, 58 of Bainbridge, died Friday, June 1, 2012 at her residence.
She was born at Sinking Spring on February 5, 1954 the daughter of the late Cecil and Mary Gustin Hopkins. Beside her parents she is preceded in death by one brother, Cecil Hopkins, Jr., one sister, Esther Hopkins.
She was a member of the Sinking Spring United Methodist Church, Hillsboro Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #1161 Ladies Auxillary.
She is survived by her husband Dallas Ison whom she married on September 5, 1999, one step son, Jeremy Ison; two step daughters, Daniele Vaness, Bethany Ison; five sisters & brothers in law, Helen Williamson of Sinking Spring, Betty and David Wise of Hillsboro, Verda Bosier of Hillsboro, Mary and Earl Mahaffey of Hillsboro, Trudy and Jim Hodge of Rainsboro; eight grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday June 5, 2012 at Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring with Greg Seaman officiating. Burial will follow in the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery
Friends may call on Monday evening from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home.
