Susan Morris, 74 years of Hillsboro, died Thursday, December 14, 2006 at the Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro.
She was born in Fairfax, Ohio on January 5, 1932 the daughter of the late Jefferson and Arzona Osborne Barnes.
She worked for several years at the Hercules Trouser Company in Hillsboro. She was a member of the Liz McGrath Circle and the Hog Valley Civic Center.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil "Pike" Morris, who passed away on August 11, 1999, son, Phillip Virgil Morris, five brothers, Sherman, Ralph, Elmer, Paul, and Jason Barnes, and one sister, Lina Sturgeon.
She is survived by two sons, Tom Morris of Ocala, Florida, John Morris of Hillsboro, three daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and Tom Riley of Bainbridge, Esther and Jack Lunsford of Ft. McCoy, Florida, Helen and John Garrison of Corbin, Kentucky, nine grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at 10:30 A.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev Tom Zile officiating. Burial will follow in the Roads Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
