Susie Davis

January 20, 1940 — June 13, 2005

Susie Davis, 65 years of Piketon, died Monday, June 13, 2005 at the Laurels in Hillsboro.

She was born in Idaho, Ohio on January 20, 1940 the daughter of the late R.Z. and Maudie Pendleton Litteral.

She was a cook in the Western Local Schools. She was a member of the Family Life Fellowship Church.

Beside her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Norman Gene Litteral, and one sister, Betty Ison.

She is survived by her husband, James Davis, who she married on October 16, 1956, sons, David Davis of Cable, Ohio, Duane Davis of Fort Mill, South Carolina, daughters and sons-in-law, Dina and Joe Buck of West Liberty, Ohio, Tina J. and Jeff Zurface of Hillsboro, brothers, Homer Litteral of New Carlisle, Bill Litteral of South Charleston, R.Z. Litteral, Jr. of Springfield, Roy Pendleton of Texas, sisters, Connie Vaughn of Winter Springs, Florida, Geraldine Berner of Springfield, Imogene Gonzalez of Florida, Mary Williams of Piketon, eleven grandchildren, Amanda, Gennifer, and Brandon Davis, Anna, Ashley, Joe, III, and Ava Buck, and Chantell Madison, Emmylou, and Jackob Zurface, special aunt, Gertrude Blair of Piketon, special niece, Pat Lyons, and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 17, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring with Pastor George Watters officiating. Burial will follow in the Washburn Cemetery.

Friends may call on Thursday from 4:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home.
