Sylvia J. Copeland, 61 years of Midland, died Friday, August 2, 2002 at the Clinton Memorial Hospital.
She was born at Corbin, KY on January 4, 1941 the daughter of Henry and Cle Walden Roark.
She retired from Keebler?s in Cincinnati.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Billy Roark, one sister, Effie Felts.
She is survived by her husband Frank Copeland of Midland, one son, Harold Payne of Portland IN., one step son Michael Copeland of St. Petersburg, FL., one step daughter, Yvonne Rogers of Chattanooga, TN., one brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Sharen Roark of Loveland, OH, two sisters, Bobbie Harris of Pennville, IN, Jan Evans of London, KY., four grandchildren, Rebecca Payne, Sylvia Lynn Payne, Jessica Payne, Samuel Rogers and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2002 at 11:00 A.M. at the Locust Grove Cemetery with Rev. Charles Trochelman officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday evening from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
