Terry Hoop, 53 years of Jacktown Community, passed away Saturday, November 22, 2008 at Adams County Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Adams County, Ohio on February 3, 1955 the son of the late Denver and Mary Bayless Hoop.
Terry was a member of the Sons of the American Legion and a Meter Technician for Adams Rural Electric for fifteen years.
He is survived by his wife Linda Morrison Hoop of Jacktown Community, whom he married on January 23, 1976, daughter and son-in-law Terri and Terry Mays of Sardinia, brother Wayne Hoop of Peebles, two sisters, Vicki Mitchell of Bainbridge and Pam Hoop of Dayton, and four grandchildren, Daniel, Faith, Ryan, and Cheyenne.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Raymond Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Jacktown Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
