Thelma Alexander, 91 years of Seaman, died Saturday, November 3, 2007 at the Adams County Manor in West Union.

She was born in Adams County, Ohio on July 8, 1916 the daughter of the late Harrison and Melissa Steele Stratton.

She was a nurse for the Adams County Hospital and retired from the Adams County Manor. She was a member of the Wesley Chapel Church of Christ in Christian Union.

Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Alexander, who passed away in 1982, one son, William Lewis "Dink" Alexander, three brothers, Thomas, Raymond, and Richard Stratton, and two sisters, Frances Beck and Carol Puckett.

She is survived by her son, Douglas Alexander of Winchester, daughter, Barbara Alexander of Seaman, two daughters-in-law, Judy Alexander of West Union, Dana Alexander of Winchester, three sisters-in-law, Susie Alexander of Cincinnati, Ryanna Alexander of Winchester, Beulah Stratton of Winchester, eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and two great great granddaughters.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wesley Chapel Church of Christ in Christian Union with Pastor Lonnie Potts officiating. Burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman.
