Thelma L. Walsh, 79 years of Winchester, died Monday, September 18, 2006 at the Meadow Wood Care Center in Georgetown, Ohio.
She was born in Madison County, Ohio on December 21, 1926 the daughter of the late John L. and Sylvia L. Fraley Hastings.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Walsh, who passed away in 2001, one brother, Robert L. Hastings, and one sister, Martha Sue Carman.
She is survived by two sons, John L. Murphy of Trenton, Francis W. Murphy of Winchester, two daughters, Regina E. Van Note of West Carrollton, Helen L. Freeman of Ft. Worth, Texas, two sisters, Rebecca J. Rake of London, Ohio, Doris A. Shoemaker of Dublin, Ohio, twenty-one grandchildren and thirty great grandchildren.
Private memorial services will be held by the family at a later date. There will be no visitation observed.
Bradford-Sullivan Funeral Home in Winchester is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5378A Cox-Smith Road, Mason, OH 45040.
