Thomas J. Lykins, 79 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Monday April 6, 2020.
He was born in Cannel City, KY on September 3, 1940, the son of the late Finley and Mildred (Dunigan) Lykins. Besides his parents, he is also preceded by one son, Robert James Lykins and two brothers, Douglas and Jack Lykins.
Thomas served in the United States Air Force, was a retired truck driver for ABF, attended Southside Praise and Worship, Teamster # 957 and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Monnie Lykins, whom were married on November 19, 1971, five grandchildren, Jamie (Erica) Lykins, Amanda L. Gragg, Devyn (Zoey) Gajewskey, Kaitlynd Lykins and Sariah Lykins, twelve great grandchildren, Ashley Lykins, Abigail Lykins, Allyson Gragg, Matthew Gragg, Zaiden Lykins, Weslee Lykins, Josiah Collett, Mahkia Collett, Noah Juanchi, Terrence Tatsuno and Vincent Tatsuno, brother, Larry Lykins of Phoenix, AZ and sister, Betty Brown of Fairborn, OH.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on June 13, 2020 at the Southside Praise and Worship Center. Pastor Mike Brown will officiate services. Military Rites will be conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard.
