Thomas Leslie McMillan, 83 years of Piketon, died Thursday, April 1, 2004 at the Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth.
He was born in Lancaster, Kentucky on May 15, 1920 the son of the late Charlie and Evelyn Walker McMillan.
He was a U.S. Army veteran in World War II. He retired after thirty-eight years from Wright Patterson Air Force Base where he was a mechanic.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Thomas McMillan.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Charlie and Michelle McMillan of Piketon, daughters and son-in-law, Katie Owens of Kentucky, Mary Leslie of Kentucky, Tammy and Ed Legg of Piketon, brother, Curtis McMillan of North Carolina, sisters, Dixie Doersheln of Wisconsin, Shirley Tong of Latham, several grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Dave Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call on Saturday from 11:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
