Thomas Richter, 64 years of Fairfield, Ohio, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Mercy Hospital in Fairfield.
He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on January 27, 1947 the son of the late John and Mary Honorlaw Richter.
Thomas was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a 1965 graduate of Garfield High School, employed by Rumpke Inc. for thirty five years, twenty five years as a truck driver with a perfect driving record.
He is survived by his wife Verinda Brumett Richter whom he married in 1966, one son and daughter-in-law; Thomas and Elizabeth Richter, Jr., one daughter; Tonya Renee Brushman, two grandchildren; Douglas and Brady Bushman, and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Bradford-Sullivan Chapel in Winchester with Matt Young officiating. Burial will follow in Cherry Fork Cemetery with a Military Graveside Service held by the Adams County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 10:00 till 11:00 A.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Bradford-Sullivan Chapel in Winchester.
