Thomas J. Ward, 60, of Hillsboro died Wednesday, September 15th at his residence.
He was born in Highland County on December 1, 1949, the son of the late Walter Eugene and Charma Cameron Reno, who survives.
He is also survived by one sister, Gloria Fulkerson, of Wilmington, one nephew Eric Amy Fulkerson, of Hillsboro, two nieces, Judy Chris Neville of Jamestown, Lori Tim Blair of Sardinia, five great nieces and nephews and a host of cousins and friends.
Mr. Ward was a U.S. Army veteran who served during the Vietnam Conflict. He later worked as a machine operator at Randall?s in Wilmington. He was an avid fan of Ohio State, the Cincinnati Reds and the Bengals.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, September 20 at Dunkard Ridge Cemetery with military honors provided by the Highland County Honor
