Timothy "Rug" E. Griffith

Timothy "Rug" E. Griffith, 68 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Thursday January 19, 2023.
He was born in Highland County on July 16, 1954, the son of the late Paul and Barbara (Ellis) Griffith. Besides his parents, he is also preceded by his grandson, Andrew Davis and brother, Paul Gene Griffith.
Rug is survived by his wife, Candice (Gulick) Griffith, whom were married on August 13, 1974; daughters, Mandy (Erik) Nicely of Hillsboro, Bridget (Jake) Remsing of Hillsboro and Megan (Elon) Davis of Hillsboro; five grandchildren, Emily (Javen) Spencer, Dalton Nicely, Camryn (Nick O'Bryant) Remsing, Ben Remsing and Ellis Davis, great grandchild, Rhen O'Bryant: brothers, Dennis (Carlene) Griffith of Hillsboro, Robert (Patricia) Griffith of Hillsboro and Michael (Donna) Griffith of Hillsboro, sister, Dottie Creed of Highland and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Rug retired from Hanson Aggregates and after retirement worked for Dance Steel and Farm Supply in Hillsboro. Rug's true passion was dirt track racing.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at the Griffith's Residence, 4402 Carmel Road, Hillsboro, OH 45133 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM Saturday January 28, 2023.
