Tom Armstrong

January 17, 1922 — May 18, 2004

Tom Armstrong, 82 years of Seaman, died Tuesday, May 18, 2004 at his residence.

He was born in Adams County, Ohio on January 17, 1922 the son of the late Corwin and Virgie Roberds Armstrong.

He was a truck driver for Columbus & Southern Electric Company. He was a member of the Winchester Presbyterian Church.

Beside his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Tommy Armstrong, Jr., and one grandchild, William Kent Armstrong.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-one years, Betty Dawley Armstrong of Seaman, son and daughter-in-law, Barney and Susan Armstrong of Seaman, two brothers, Carson Armstrong of Hillsboro, Waldo Armstrong of Seaman, two sisters, Ruth Wickerham of Seaman, Mary Metzer of Arizona, and three grandchildren, Chad Armstrong, Beth Reed, and Craig Armstrong.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 21, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman with Rev. Volley Reed officiating. Burial will follow in the Tranquility Cemetery.

Friends may call on Friday from 12:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home.
